What began in 1995 as a premium catering venture led by Mr. Avinash Rajput has blossomed into a dynamic culinary legacy.
In 2017, after her return from London, Jyoti Rajput reignited the family’s passion by founding Just Appetite Culinary School — starting right from home, offering pure vegetarian and eggless courses. Her daughter, Aakanksha, then pursuing law, handled the backend and operations with precision and vision.
From cozy home kitchens to now operating from three full-fledged culinary and bakery studios in JB Nagar, Andheri East, we’ve stayed true to our roots while growing into something extraordinary.
Today, Chef Avinash Rajput continues to lead the school, sharing his global expertise through select masterclasses and mentoring. He also heads Just Appetite Consultancy Services, guiding F&B ventures across India and abroad. Meanwhile, Jyoti Rajput still passionately oversees production and execution, and Aakanksha, now armed with a Culinary Diploma and a Master’s in Business Management, drives growth and innovation.
We’ve also expanded into a vibrant new chapter with the Just Appetite Gourmet Kitchen — located right outside Studio 3 — serving fresh bakes, desserts, and more to the community.

As the pillar of the organization, she drives product management, course execution, and ensures every idea transforms into reality with care and precision. Her vision and commitment shape the heart of the school.

Avinash Rajput
With over 35 years of experience in the national and international hospitality industry, Chef Avinash Rajput has led culinary teams across prestigious hotels and F&B ventures in India, the UK, and Dubai. A seasoned hotelier and mentor, his global expertise and deep industry knowledge form the backbone of Just Appetite. His hands-on guidance helps students gain practical, world-ready culinary skills.

Co-Founder
Co-Founder of Just Appetite Culinary School, Aakanksha brings a unique blend of business, law, and culinary training to the table. With expertise in social media and brand strategy, she drives operations, innovation, and student experience. Her passion lies in building meaningful café concepts and food brands. She believes in hands-on learning and creating joyful, 100% vegetarian, egg-free culinary journeys.
